A few things we’re great at

I have worked with people at almost every stage of their professional journey—from students taking their first steps into the workplace and young professionals finding their confidence, to managers navigating complex teams and leaders shaping organisations.
Much of my professional life has revolved around helping people learn, communicate, lead and grow. I have designed learning programmes, facilitated conversations, managed large and diverse teams, worked on skill-development initiatives, supported emerging talent and helped organisations translate ideas into action. These experiences have introduced me to people from very different backgrounds—and to stories that deserve to be remembered and shared.
But Voices from the Verandah is not meant to be a formal extension of my résumé.
It is my creative corner – a space where I can slow down, observe, reflect and explore ideas without squeezing them into a presentation slide or a training framework.
Here, I intend to write about people, work, leadership, everyday life, changing times and the small moments that often carry the biggest lessons. There will also be photographs, conversations, podcasts, personal reflections and perhaps a few experiments that do not fit neatly into any category.
Why Voices from the Verandah?
Because verandahs have always been spaces for unhurried conversations. They are where stories are exchanged, opinions are shaped, memories resurface and ordinary observations become meaningful. This website is my digital verandah. A place to listen, think, speak, question, remember and connect.
I do not claim to have all the answers. I simply bring years of experiences, a fascination for people, an interest in how the world is changing, and a growing desire to document what I see and learn.
Pull up a chair. There is always room for one more voice on the verandah.
